Cygnus olor Mute Swans -- nesting at Geneva Pond 3/17, on 3/22 they were aggressively attacking Canada geese and ducks on the pond. Also pairs or multiple pairs at Wenscott pond, Butterfly pond, Greystone and Allendale. There were 81 swans at Watchemoket on the East bay Bike Path on 3/29, on 4/26 there were 50. On 5/3 there was a nesting Mute Swan and mate on the east shore opposite Swanpoint. Another nesting pair has chased all other birds from Geneva pond by 4/25
